Before visiting the shrine of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya, devotees pay homage to Hazrat Amir Khusro (1253-1325 A.D.), the renowned Persian Poet of India and a spiritual disciple of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia. His tomb is located within the Dargah Complex.
