The sacred Dargah of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya is one the most venerated Sufi shrines in India. Located in Delhi, it is visited by a large number of devotees from all walks of life throughout the year.
Sultan-ul-Mashaikh, Mehboob-e-Ilahi, Hazrat Shaikh Khwaja Syed Muhammad Nizamuddin Auliya R.A (1238 – 3 April 1325) also known as Hazrat Nizamuddin, the great and most popular Sufi Saint of India, belonged to the Chishti Sufi Silsila (order) which originated in India with Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and believed in drawing close to God through renunciation of the world and service to humanity.
